Psalm 31

In you, Yahweh, I take refuge;
let me never be disgraced.
In your righteousness deliver me, rescue me.

Quickly, turn your ear to me!
Be a sheltering rock for me,
and a walled fortress to save me!

For you are my rock, my stronghold;
for the sake of your name, guide and lead me!

Pull me out of the net they have spread for me,
for you are my refuge.

Into your hands I commit my spirit;
you will redeem me, Yahweh.

I will exult and rejoice in your love!
You, who had seen my wretchedness
and known the miseries of my soul,

have not handed me over to the enemy.
You have given my feet space to spare.

Take pity on me, Yahweh;
I am in trouble now.

Sorrow consumes my eyes,
my throat, my inmost parts.

But in you, Yahweh, I trust;
I say, "You are my God."

Let your face smile upon your servant,
save me in your love.

[All] In you, Yahweh, I take refuge;
In your righteousness deliver me.
